We are excited to welcome Rev. Dr. Irvin Green to the pulpit at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Wilmington on Sunday, February 22nd at 10:30 AM!Rev. Dr. Green recently retired alongside his wife, Rev. Dr. Betty Green, after faithfully serving as Co-Pastors of Central Christian Church in Kettering, Ohio. He is a graduate of Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, where he earned his Master of Divinity, and Chicago Theological Seminary, where he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree. He is also a veteran of the United States Army, bringing a lifetime of service and leadership to both church and country.
Throughout his ministry, Rev. Dr. Green has served the wider church as an Interim Minister, Pastor, and Faculty member at Lexington Theological Seminary, and has played a vital role in training and mentoring denominational leaders who continue to serve the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in congregations, regions, and national settings.
