Hosted at the Pacific Grove Art Center on September 6, 2026, the event brings together creators, fans, and industry professionals for a day of screenings and community building. With its roots in Monterey County’s vibrant arts scene, the PULP Pop-Up is curated by PULP as part of its mission to support independent animators, elevate underrepresented voices, and foster a thriving creative community on the Central Coast and beyond.

Our Mission

PULP exists because mainstream media leaves too much good work on the cutting room floor. We strive to make space for the strange, the brave, and the creatively unhinged. We give artists a home where their vision can be seen and celebrated. PULP is a jubilee of underground media and imaginative storytelling through animation. This event highlights independent voices from around the world while featuring contributions from acclaimed animators with credits on Adult Swim, HBO, Hulu, and Nickelodeon.
