Our Why
Pulling for Pink is more than a lifting event.
October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but our mission reaches beyond breast cancer to honor and support anyone impacted by cancer. Too many people and families carry this fight quietly, feeling like they’re on their own. Pulling for Pink is here to show them: you are not alone.
On October 25th, we’ll come together as a community, pull some heavy deadlifts—whether it’s a personal record or just moving weight—and dedicate every rep to the fighters, the survivors, and the loved ones we’ve lost. The weight we lift is a symbol of the strength and struggle carried every day by those touched by cancer.
Throughout October, Pulling for Pink bracelets will be worn as a daily reminder of unity and support. Each bracelet, each lift, and each person who joins us reinforces one message: we stand together, we support one another, and no one faces this journey alone.
