Sometimes the right family for our kids is a foster family. And sometimes it’s their extended family.
That’s because, in certain circumstances, staying with a relative in our Kinship Care program can be better for the kids. And since relatives who foster family members in Kinship Care receive the same access to training, in-home services, 24/7 support, and financial reimbursement as our foster families, it’s better for their extended family, too.
