Discover Running City USA with the Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K. Both the half and full takes runners and walkers on a route through some of the city's most historical landmarks and scenic areas showing off its tree lined streets and its authentic southern charm. Publix Atlanta Marathon Weekend has something for the entire family and will show participants near and far why Atlanta is Running City USA. The 5K and youth events take place on Saturday, while the full and half marathons are held on Sunday.
Publix Atlanta Marathon is an Abbott World Marathon Major Wanda Age Group World Rankings Qualifying race.
The youth portion of Publix Atlanta Marathon Weekend will show kids 14 and under what it means to be part of a big city marathon, offering a 5K, 3K, and 50M Dash. Children can run multiple distances and try out the Track & Field Zone.
Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the Publix Atlanta Marathon events as scheduled on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2, 2025. The Club has a no refund policy. However, If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together due to a force majeure event, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to circumstances beyond the control of Atlanta Track Club, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media.
Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine. However, the threat of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity of the event may result in a delay or cancellation.
