About the Presentation
Marco Bonincontro is a member of the Adelaide Theosophical Society with a keen interest in Comparative Religion. As a long-time student of Theosophy, over the years he has attended educational activities such as The School of the Wisdom, at the International Headquarters of the Theosophical Society in Chennai, India; The Australian School of Theosophy, at the Theosophical Education and Retreat Centre in Springbrook, Queensland; and The Summer Lecture Series, at the International Theosophical Centre in Naarden, Holland.
About the Presenter
Homo habilis, Homo ergaster, Homo erectus, Homo heidelbergensis - these are the four main Homo species that, according to anthropology, led to the emergence of Homo sapiens, our present species. Is Homo sapiens, though, the final chapter in the book of human evolution, or more remains to be written? And if the latter is the case, will such evolution proceed along strictly physical lines or, as Theosophy teaches, it will also involve an evolution at a consciousness level, a transition from our Homo sapiens to what may rightly be called Homo spiritualis?
