About this Event

Do you get nervous speaking in front of others?
Are your presentation skills holding you back in business, or in life?

If you want to design and deliver presentations that are clear, confident and compelling, this course is for you.

In today’s digital world, the ability to communicate and connect on a human level is what makes you stand out. Whether you’re speaking in a meeting, pitching an idea, leading a webinar or presenting on stage, how you present determines how your message is received, remembered and acted upon.

This practical one-day course is designed for professionals ready to take their presentation skills to the next level. You’ll learn how to structure your message, engage your audience and speak with presence and authority — so you can communicate your ideas with clarity, confidence and impact.

In a safe and supportive environment, you’ll learn how to:

  • W**d out self-doubt and build confidence and self-belief
  • overcome your fears and get your butterflies to fly in formation
  • develop and deliver a clear and compelling presentation
  • know your audience and tailor your communication
  • bring your presentation to life with stories, props and visual aids
  • use your body and voice to enhance your message
  • build rapport and engage an audience of 1 or 1000
  • project a powerful presence
  • look and feel calm, confident and credible
  • embrace and enhance your own authentic communication style
  • manage Q&A sessions
  • avoid the number one mistake most presenters make
  • ensure your presentation is remembered for all the right reasons!

The course material is suitable for beginners and those with some experience speaking in front of an audience who are looking for tools and techniques to take their speaking to the next level.

Participants will receive a questionnaire to complete prior to the masterclass and where possible the session will be tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual attending.

To ensure every participant gets the most from their attendance, class size is limited to 8 people.

So if you’re tired of waiting in the wings and you’re ready confidently take centre stage in business, book your place today – I can’t wait to welcome you and watch you develop your public speaking skills and confidence.

"Mel is a fantastic coach! The workshop was just full of tips and tricks I never would have come up with by myself. It’s the only workshop I’ve attended that I would 100% recommend, every word she said was a golden nugget of wisdom."

Doirann Gordon, PhD Student, University of Edinburgh

“The moment Mel walks into the room, it is clear that she practices what she preaches. She is authentic, interactive and worked constructively and with clarity to improve my style. I attended Mel’s workshops and spent a number of 1:1 coaching sessions with Mel working on a specific pitch, then on my general pitching technique. This coaching has made sharing complex information much clearer, I deliver it with more confidence and I sound more credible. Attending Mel’s workshops and 1:1 coaching is undoubtedly the single best personal development I have done to benefit my business & career.”

Pete Thomson, CEO & Founder, KMSoft Ltd
