JOIN us for a Public Sea Turtle Release THIS Saturday, March 7th at Higg’s Beach in Key West (behind Salute’ restaurant)! Bring your family and friends to help cheer for “Petunia”, a juvenile green sea turtle returning to his ocean home! Petunia was found floating and lethargic in early February. Petunia was treated at The Turtle Hospital for cold stunning. Treatment included fluids, vitamins, and a healthy diet of greens and mixed seafood. Petunia is back to good health and ready to return to sea! The Turtle Hospital ambulance will arrive at Higg’s beach with the marine turtle at 10:45 a.m. with release at 11:00 a.m. See you there!
