2025. The "temporary" closure of emergency surgery has had serious consequences for too many Fermanagh Families.
The RQIA review pulication has enabled the WHSCT to say that the review supported its own findings that there had been "no patient safety concerns" arising from the suspension of emergency general surgery.
Trust Chief Executive Neil Guckian said it "did not choose to suspend this service lightly" as it "could no longer be safely maintained without permanent consultants".
Save Our Acute Services have invited all 5 political parties to wend a representative member to asnwer your questions on the night.
A public meeting where questions will be put to local politicians.
Without doubt, at some stage emergency surgery case will be needed by your extended family members... too many families have now been affected by the direct consequences of the removal of our consultant surgeons.
Make sure there’s “temporary” change is not a permanent one. TOGETHER we WILL see the restoration of Surgeons to the South West Region.
