Crownsville Trails Public Meeting
This meeting is scheduled to take place on 2025-09-17 at 6:00 PM.
A public meeting has been scheduled from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on September 17, 2025 at Rolling Knolls Elementary School to discuss plans to build mountain biking and hiking trails in the southern area of Crownsville Hospital Memorial Park off Hawkins Road.
This project involves the development of natural surface hiking and biking trails in the southern portion of the Crownsville Hospital Memorial Park, accessible from Hawkins Road. Anne Arundel County will lead the planning, public outreach, and construction of a small gravel parking area to support trail access. The Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (M.O.R.E.) will be responsible for the construction and ongoing maintenance of the trails. This partnership mirrors the collaboration currently in place between the County and M.O.R.E. at the nearby Bacon Ridge Natural Area.
