Welcome all! Imbolc is a Pagan holiday signaling the halfway point between winter and spring. It is a celebration of light, and the promise of brightness returning to our lives in short order as we recognize the season awaiting us ahead.
As with all pagan celebrations contained within the wheel of the year, Montreal Pagans will be hosting a public ritual for both seasoned practitioners and newcomers to pagan religion alike!
For this ritual, the focus will be on the fire the burns inside of us - our passions, our purpose, whatever it is that keeps us fueled. This is particularly relevant during the time of year when it is cold, the weather is unkind, and we yearn for the return of sunnier days and warmer climate. There will be several segments to the ritual in this spirit, and we will conclude with a potluck and mingle as always!
TO BRING:
-A cup, chalice, bottle, or other drinking vessel
-A drink of your choice
-Food to share for the potluck
-Your personal utensils
-A foldable chair if you'd like to sit (chairs are limited)
-$5 per participant (to cover the cost of renting the space and buying the materials)
The ritual will be bilingual for the convenience of all participants.

Bienvenue à tous ! Imbolc est une fête Païenne qui marque le point médian entre l'hiver et le printemps. C'est une célébration de la lumière et la promesse d'un retour rapide de la luminosité dans nos vies alors que nous reconnaissons la saison qui nous attend.
Comme pour toutes les célébrations Païennes contenues dans la roue de l'année, Païens de Montréal organiseront un rituel public pour les pratiquants chevronnés et les nouveaux venus dans la religion Païenne !
Pour ce rituel, l'accent sera mis sur le feu qui brûle en nous - nos passions, notre objectif, tout ce qui nous maintient en vie. Cela est particulièrement pertinent pendant la période de l'année où il fait froid, et nous aspirons au retour de jours plus ensoleillés et d'un climat plus chaud. Le rituel se déroulera en plusieurs segments dans cet esprit, et nous conclurons par un repas-partage et une rencontre comme toujours !
À APPORTER :
- Une tasse, un calice, une bouteille ou un autre récipient à boire
- Une boisson de votre choix
- De la nourriture à partager pour le repas-partage
- Vos ustensiles personnels
- Une chaise pliante si vous souhaitez vous asseoir (les chaises sont limitées)
- 5 $ par participant (pour couvrir le coût de la location de l'espace et de l'achat du matériel)
Le rituel sera bilingue pour la commodité de tous les participants.
