A look at Myanmar’s anarchist movements – from anarcho-punks and Food Not Bombs to militant workers and armed insurrection — and the realities of revolution and survival.
During this discussion, we will be discussing the emergence of the anarchist movement in Myanmar, mutual aid projects, international solidarity and anarchist-aligned groups currently engaged in the frontlines of combat against the military regime, including the Anti-Fascist Internationalist Front and the Hero Warriors.
If conditions permit, we intend to be joined via video-link with anarchists in Myanmar itself. Full program will be released closer to the date.
Food and drinks will be available. Funds will be raised for anarchist projects in Myanmar - entry is free or by donation (encouraged). T-shirts, badges and pamphlets will also be available for sale.
