Public Art Tour Work in Progress

Join Lucy Brouwer, creator of Watson Fothergill Walk, for a work in progress tour of Nottingham’s public art, sculpture & street art.
About this Event

I'm working with Nottingham Contemporary on tour of some of the city's public art, sculptures and street art. From Lace Market Square to Standing in This Place, Leaf Stem to the plaque for Xylophone Man, I'll be looking at who we choose to commemorate and how, the functions of public art and the artists who make it.

This is a city centre walk of approximately 1.5-2 hours / 2km, with some steps. Please come appropriately prepared for the weather and wear footwear suitable for walking. This tour is a work in progress and timings are approximate.
There will be opportunities for refreshment and discussion at Nottingham Contempory where the tour starts and ends at Blend Cafe.
