Honoring the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of the United States, the PTPA is very pleased to present the ORIGINAL musical of American Independence, 1776! Running from July 3 through 12, with dinner and show options being offered for the July 11 and 12 performances!WHAT
1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the larger-than-life figures of founding fathers John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and others who helped forge this nation, in a musical that is at turns funny, insightful, and compelling, with a striking score and legendary script. Even though we think we know what happened in Philadelphia during that sweltering summer of 1776, this classic award-winning musical will have you on the edge of your seat as you find out HOW it happened - and how much is still yet to be done!
The PTPA is also very excited to be offering DINNER & SHOW options for our performances on Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th (All Dinner Reservations must be made by Monday, July 6th)!

*Dinner reservations are due no later than Monday, July 6th; non-dinner tickets for 7/11 and 7/12 will then go on sale
*Doors open for dinner patrons beginning an hour and 45 minutes before curtain; dinner will begin being served promptly at 5:30 pm on Saturday and at 12:30pm on Sunday
*Auditorium will open for Show-Only patrons on evenings where dinner is being served beginning 30 minutes before curtain
*Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks will be available at the lobby bar throughout dinner, before the show, and again at intermission.
