About this Event
Come along to The Police Treatment Centre for our very first local networking event.
We'll treat you to some breakfast and a Yorkshire cuppa before heading off to work for the day.
Our Centre combines state of the art facilities with restful surroundings to support treatment and rehabilitation to Police professionals.
Special guest Paul Cording will be speaking about his experiences within North Yorkshire Police and how he came to use the facilities. Paul Cording, a former Roads Policing Sergeant and also a familiar face across the county following his visits to local schools, presence on social media and his appearances on Channel 5’s ‘Traffic Cops’. During his years of service, Paul campaigned for road safety and was awarded the British Empire Medal for his services to policing and charity in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours. His commitment to road safety has seen him take on regular charity challenges where he has raised thousands of pounds for local and national charities - one being the PTC.
Time for networking with other delegates and tours of the facilities will be available so you can hear and see what we offer first hand as a Charity.
On the day we will also have a visit from one of our therapy dogs who are regular visitors at the Centre. Our furry friends are a key part of the Centre and bring such joy to our Patients and staff. Thank you Anne, Cathy and our canine pals.
Hazel from H2K will have a stand with products available to try. One of the classes our patients can attend when staying on residential programmes is an essential oils workshop. In the workshops patients experience physical and emotional benefits and learn techniques to relieve stress, headaches and minor ailments.
