About this Event
Attendees will better understand Alzheimer's disease and other psychiatric diseases related to aging, empowering them to improve care quality. Participants will gain practical skills by learning effective redirection techniques and non-pharmacological interventions designed to manage behaviors and enhance the comfort of residents. Furthermore, the workshop focuses on best practices to decrease the use of psychotropics, educating staff on how to avoid unnecessary medications and reduce antipsychotic reliance in late life.
