Psychederek - aka Lewis Olsen - is a Manchester based producer, DJ and live performer, known for his psychedelic disco odysseys, baggy reworks, and balearic soundscapes.
Operating from his studio in Stretford, Manchester, he weaves electronic music with live instrumentation to craft rich sonic tapestries that are both dreamy and hard-hitting in equal measure. His eclectic DJ sets spans disco, house, jazz, and ambient electronica. His groovy and sublime sets are guaranteed to keep crowds guessing & dancing.
His DJ resumé spans from intimate club nights to festival stages, including an annual residency at Beatherder festival and performances at some of the UK's most legendary and prestigious underground venues - notably spinning at The Golden Lion Todmorden for A Love From Outer Space (founded by Sean Johnston & the late Andrew Weatherall), gracing the decks at SK1 Records' viral street party and a live improvised set at Rainy Heart.
Meanwhile, his productions have also been quietly earning serious recognition, with his record Alt! landing in Piccadilly Records' top 10 12" of 2024 and regular support from Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music. His latest record, Thinkin’ Bout U, has had tremendous support across BBC Introducing, NTS Radio and Do!! You!! Radio.
