What to Expect
Thousands of songs (Rock Band + open mic karaoke)
Pizza while it lasts
Costume contest with prizes
Chill lounge area + quick sign-ups for our discussion group and signature-gathering tables
Photo corner + “End the Drug War” props (keep it fun & respectful)
Why “End the Drug War” at Karaoke?
We’re building a student culture rooted in human respect, harm reduction, and honest conversation.
The War on Drugs has fueled stigma and criminalization instead of help and healing.
Tonight is a light-hearted way to connect, learn about sensible reforms, and support Alaska’s natural-medicine decriminalization efforts.
Run of Show
6:00 PM — Doors, song sign-ups, pizza
6:15–8:30 PM — Karaoke & Rock Band rotations
8:30 PM — Costume contest & prizes
8:45–9:00 PM — Final songs + cleanup
