Psychedelic Breathwork and Sound Bath
About this Event
Psychedelic breathwork is a sober practice that can create an expanded state of awareness, allowing you to step outside of your usual patterns and experience yourself from a different perspective. Many people find that this state makes it easier to access emotions, cultivate self-compassion, connect more deeply with their bodies, and regulate their nervous system.
Throughout the journey, I’ll gently guide you in noticing, creating space for, and nurturing whatever part of yourself is asking for your attention. Every experience is different. Some people encounter strong emotions or vivid imagery, while others simply experience deep relaxation. There is no ‘right’ way for the journey to unfold, so I invite you to trust where your jody takes you.
The breathwork itself uses a three-part breathing pattern—two inhales followed by one exhale, all through the mouth. This is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. You’ll always be encouraged to adjust the pace and depth of your breathing in a way that feels supportive and safe for your body.
Our evening together includes:
- Guided meditation to settle into the space
- Reflective journaling to set intentions
- A facilitated psychedelic breathwork journey
- A restorative sound bath for rest and integration
- Time to gently return before leaving
All yoga mats, bolsters, and blankets are provided by Harmonist Sanctuary.
Please bring:
- A journal
- A pen
- Water
- An eye mask or eye covering (optional)
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and settling into your space before we begin.
About Your Facilitator
I’m Hunter Corey, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and certified Breathwork Facilitator. My passion is helping people reconnect with their innate capacity for healing and self-understanding. As a therapist, I have the privilege of supporting people through grief, trauma, anxiety, and life’s many challenges. Breathwork offers another powerful avenue for this work—creating space to move through emotions, reconnect with the body, and access the wisdom that already exists within us.
While informed by my clinical background, this is a group wellness experience and is not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
