PSS Supervisors Training

This training is designed to help you in your role as a supervisor to a Peer Support Specialist. The effectiveness and success of the PSS you supervise will be guided and influenced by your supervision. This training provides an overview to enhance your awareness and understanding of your role when supervising the PSS. Topics covered include:

• SAMHSA’s recovery basics

• The role of PSS and PSS core functions in treatment settings

• The supervisor’s role integrating PSS in multidisciplinary teams

• Trauma-informed and effective supervision

• Supervising and supporting effective documentation

• Promoting self-care and managing crisis
