PSP BRANCH - Recovery Ambassador Training
About this Event
🎟️ Registration is limited to just 24 in-person seats, and attendance is completely FREE.
Join us for Recovery Ambassador Training on Thursday, June 25, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Boulder County Public Library.
This interactive training, led by Dë Waldron, Peer Networking & Training Coordinator with Advocates for Recovery Colorado, explores what recovery truly means, the impact of stigma and substance use, and how language can either build barriers or create pathways to hope.
Whether you're a Peer Support Professional (PSP), Certified Peer & Family Specialist (CPFS), first responder, case worker, therapist, policymaker, community leader, or simply curious about recovery and how to support it, you're invited to attend.
PSPs and CPFSs are eligible to receive COPA-approved continuing education units (CEUs) for participation.
Participants will leave with practical tools, greater understanding, and actionable ways to become stronger advocates for recovery in their communities.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Reserve your seat early. With only 24 spots available, registration is expected to fill quickly.
