About this Event

A workshop hosted by Charmaine Edwards-Lynch, Racial Justice Officer and Suzanne Semedo, Racial Justice Programme Lead for the Diocese of Bristol. This workshop will be in person.

Workshop Objectives

1. Deepen understanding of race, racism, and racial bias in safeguarding practice.

2. Examine historical safeguarding failures and current legislation to surface systemic bias

3. Equip PSOs with practical tools to challenge racial bias and foster inclusive safeguarding environments
