Join us on Thursday November 21 for an open mic and our third all-ages qualifying poetry slam! Shoot your shot for a chance at being on the Providence Poetry Slam team in 2025.
Doors open and sign-up sheets are posted at 7pm. Please be on time to ensure you have a spot.
Admission is $5-10 suggested donation or pay what you can. No one is turned away <3
The poetry slam is a competitive game where poems are performed and judged by randomly selected judges in the audience on a scale of 1.0-10.0. Competing poets should have 2 poems ready to slam. The open mic is open to artists of all ages and all genres. Bring your stories, poems, songs, prose, music, and your friends! You'll have 4-5 minutes MAX on the mic, so please be considerate of time.
