This is a great family centered event as we become “Rooted in Love.”
It's the highlight of the season as we identify with our Slovenian heritage beginning with Mass at 12:30pm, which will be celebrated by Fr. John Kumse.
A roasted pig and chicken dinner ($20) will follow.
Special guests include Korotan and Slovenska Folklorna Skupina Kres, with a memorial tribute to Breda Loncar.
Learn how to make the traditional heart decorated honey cookie “Lectovo Srce” as part of the cooking demonstration.
The Slovenian Genealogy Society International, Inc. (SGSI) will do a presentation on being rooted in love by our heritage.
All bakers of the community are asked to bring a specialty baked good for the bake sale.
There will also be a Slovenian basket raffle, and we are now accepting donations of any kind.
There’s lots of activities for the children, such as a coloring contest, crafts, playground area and pool.
Special 65th Anniversary T-Shirts and Slovenian merchandise will be available.

The kitchen will open in the afternoon for the famous Pristava burgers and fries and there will be civapcici at the grill.
