The WA Labor Party conference is coming up in November. Join Friends of Palestine WA for a protest to call out the Labor party for their ongoing complicity in the genocide in Gaza. Despite their symbolic recognition of Palestine, the Australian government continue to support the Israeli occupation and provide economic, political and military support to the Israeli state. Documents in the press have revealed that Australia is continuing to provide F-35 fighter jet parts to Israel on flights to Tel Aviv, as recently as last month, which also saw Albanese sign off on a further 10 million dollars to Elbit Systems the same day he formally recognised Palestine at the UN.
And now, Australia is backing Donald Trump's plans for a redeveloped Gaza, led by a "peace" involving indefinite Western occupation of Gaza by war criminals like Tony Blair and no self determination for the Palestinian people.
