Protest Horseracing - Maryland Million Day at Laurel Park

This protest will take place on Maryland Million Day outside of Laurel Park. Horseracing Wrongs has confirmed 435 horses killed at Maryland tracks since 2014. The vast majority of those horses died at this track.
Join us for a peaceful protest to advocate for all the horses suffering and dying in the cruel racing industry.
Horseracing is whipping, controlling devices like mouth bits and tongue ties, painful injuries, solitary confinement and slaughter. It involves immense suffering from start to finish.
I have plenty of posters but you are more than welcome to make your own (no profanity please). Please bring a megaphone if you have one.
*** NO sirens will be used, however, due to potentially scaring horses entering or exiting the track. The last thing we want is to spook a horse. ***
Parking: For your GPS, the address for our meeting spot at Planet Fitness, located in Laurel Plaza, is: 9644 Fort Meade Rd, Laurel, MD 20707.
