Join Upper Missouri Waterkeeper for an evening with John Tubbs, former Director of the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, for a timely conversation on the future of water in Montana.Drawing on decades of experience in water policy and public service, Tubbs will share a history of how Montana’s waters became increasingly overallocated and threatened, how we got here, and what must be done now to protect our water, our way of life, and our world-class fisheries.
John Tubbs currently serves as Chair of the Upper Missouri Waterkeeper Board and previously served as Director of the Montana Department of Natural Resources. He also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Water and Science at the U.S. Department of the Interior. A longtime Montana water leader, Tubbs brings deep experience in water management, public lands, and the challenges facing rivers and communities across the state.
