Join IEC for a series of community conversations this fall about the impacts of coal ash pollution, particularly in areas that are located near coal disposal sites.Coal ash, a toxic byproduct of burning coal, has numerous health and environmental consequences. Iowans who live near coal-burning plants deserve to understand the risks, have access to air and water testing, and learn how to advocate for stronger protections.
The Council Bluffs session takes place on November 5 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Council Bluffs Public Library, in Meeting Room A.
Attendance is free and open to the public, with RSVPs appreciated.
