Three hours on protecting someone else when a knife is involved. Open to anyone aged 14 and over, with no experience and no Krav Maga membership needed.
Almost everything taught about self-defence assumes you're on your own. Create distance, get away, leave. That works, and it's usually the whole answer, right up until your partner or your kid is standing beside you. Then you can't run, you can't only protect yourself, and you have to move two people when one of them has no idea what's happening.
Add a knife and most of what you'd instinctively do stops working.
This is the afternoon on what to actually do then. Positioning, screening, shielding, and getting the person you're with out of there.
TAUGHT BY ADAM WHITE
Expert Level 4, Director of KMG Australia, and a member of the KMG Global and International Team, the small group authorised to certify Krav Maga instructors worldwide. He's flying over for the weekend.

Saturday 24 October, 1:00 to 4:00pm. Turn up ten minutes early.

WHO IT'S FOR
