Protect and Connect SSF: Day on the Bay Community Event
About this Event
The City of South San Francisco (SSF) is studying ways to protect the shoreline from the impacts of sea level rise and improve transportation connections. This effort is called Protect and Connect SSF - the SSF Shoreline Protection and Connectivity Feasibility Study. Our goals are to:
- Better connect to the shoreline
- Protect communities and places
- Improve emergency access
We are hosting a family-friendly event to share information about Protect and Connect SSF and gather community input! Local organizations including San Bruno Mountain Watch, the Sign Hill Stewards, and the South San Francisco – San Bruno Water Quality Control Plant will be leading activities to highlight the importance of protecting these areas and how everyone can get involved. Join us for a fun afternoon of education, games, and prizes!
Interpretation services available upon request – RSVP to share language support and accessibility needs.
If you can't make it, learn more and share your input on our website: ssfca.gov/protectandconnectssf
