Prose and Pearls Book Club Meeting

The Prince George's County Alumnae Chapter (PGCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invites you to join the next Prose and Pearls Book Club discussion on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 3–5 PM at the Bowie Senior Center (13900 Health Center Drive, Bowie, MD 20716). The club will be discussing the memoir "ConcealHer No More," written by PGCAC chapter member Denise N. Backus, also known as D’Author Nicole. In her memoir, she shares her journey of overcoming emotional and physical scars that made her feel as though she wasn’t "good enough." By choosing vulnerability, D'Author Nicole encourages others to embrace who God created them to be, regardless of imperfections.

The memoir is available for purchase on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle formats. The author will be present at the event to discuss her memoir and answer questions.

This event is FREE and open to the public and refreshments will be served. D'Author Nicole, along with other authors from the Prince George's County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will have books available for purchase.
