Rabab Alma is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Pennsylvania, New

Jersey, Delaware, and Florida, an EMDR Certified trauma specialist, and an

international life coach. Rabab has worked with individuals, couples, and families

for over 15 years. She is an English and Arabic-speaking therapist.

Rabab worked in corporate America and earned an MBA. Though Rabab enjoyed

corporate America, she realized this was not her passion. She decided to pursue the

psychology field. She was committed to raising her child independently and

moving one step at a time to succeed and excel.

Rabab is a clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family

Therapists (AAMFT) and a Screamfree Parenting Certified Leader. She is

trained in Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP) for the

treatment of OCD Scrupulosity (religious OCD—Waswasa) and the Gottman

Method for Couples Therapy, Contextual Therapy, Play Therapy, and

Sand Tray Therapy.

Aside from her practice, Rabab has taught as an adjunct professor at Villanova

University. She has collaborated with many organizations, including ICNA Relief

USA, the IQRA Institute, MIST, CAIR Philadelphia, MYCP (Muslim Youth

Center of Philadelphia), and ISNA. She has also participated in many speaking

engagements in DE, PA, NJ, NY, VA, and IL
