Markides Associates are an independent consultancy specialising in transport planning, infrastructure design and flood risk for the development sector.

Our specialities lie with providing Transport Planning advice to developers, retailers, landowners, and public sector bodies. Our consultancy advice spans all sectors including residential, retail, commercial, and mixed use. We also have experience of working overseas on developments and transport strategies. We recognise that highways and transport can often be one of the biggest risks on each project and, therefore, believe it is important to add value during the planning process by working alongside our detailed design team to ensure that site layouts are maximised, and commercial objectives are met.

Markides have an in-house detailed design team who are fully conversant in the undertaking of Section 278/38 Agreements together with negotiations and approvals. Our team cover all types of design work, from a simple access arrangement to the design of a new bypass encompassing new mixed use and housing developments up to 5,000 units.
