Pronto Plate Lithography

Pronto plate lithography is a terrific way to introduce yourself to lithography. Also known as polyester plate lithography, the medium is relatively quick and easy to master as well as being economical. You will have the opportunity to make images using traditional drawing techniques and media. In this pronto-plate lithography class, we will investigate direct mark-making with various drawing media onto the pronto-plate. You will learn inking techniques and printing with an etching press. Everyone will create their own edition of unique prints throughout the class.
