This evening concert will feature the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra. Gates at 5pm, Concert to begin at 6pm, finish 8.30pm. There will be a half an hour interval where tea/coffee or an ice cream can be purchased.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic and drinks, and we would encourage any alcohol to be drank responsibly.
The event is free to attend and no booking is necessary, however, capacity is limited in the auditorium area and will be on a first come first served basis.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead, please pick up after your dog.
Please queue to enter the auditorium from the gate entrance on Hollycroft just before Westray Drive, entry into the auditorium area is not possible from other points.
The parks car park will only be available for Blue Badge holders, a member of staff will be positioned on the gate, spaces are limited. We recommend that people use public transport or walk to the event where possible. If you are driving please park in town centre car parks and walk to the event rather than using residential on street parking. There will be temporary no waiting or loading restrictions in place on Hollycroft Crescent, Westray drive, Bute Close and Orkney Close from 3pm on the day of the event.
We politely ask you to take any litter away with you or dispose of in an appropriate bin. There will be portable toilets and handwashing facilities on site and the toilets at the pavilion will be open for the evening too.
