Join us for a public session to look at the proposed designs for Promenade Park Skatepark.Council staff will be joined by Bendcrete Skate Parks to show you what the new designs will look like, as well as take your feedback and questions before choosing a final design.
The session is open to the public, so please do come along if you can, and share this event with anyone else that you think would like to come.
Our Skatepark Upgrade Project will see a complete overhaul and upgrade of the skateparks at Promenade Park in Maldon, and Riverside Park in Burnham-on-Crouch, as well as the construction of a brand-new skatepark at West Maldon Community Centre. đš
These exciting developments are part of our Section 106 Youth Facilities Programme. Earlier this year, a public survey was conducted to gather views from skatepark users on the current skateparks in Promenade Park and Riverside Park. The feedback received has been instrumental in shaping the new designs for these facilities. âšī¸
Subject to any necessary planning consent, works are scheduled to begin in the new year, with an expected completion date of August 2025.
