The concert opens with the whimsical Suite from Lieutenant Kijé, a playful yet poignant musical tale filled with humor and intrigue. Acclaimed pianist Natasha Paremski then takes center stage to bring Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 to life - its driving rhythms, lush melodies, and breathtaking technical demands promise an unforgettable performance. The evening culminates with the sweeping passion of Romeo and Juliet, a symphonic masterpiece bursting with drama, heartbreak, and some of the most powerful music ever written.
