Come and sing with us Gioachino Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle together with outstanding international soloists and musicians! 🎶
Following the great success of the first edition, we are delighted to invite singers from Poland and abroad to join Project Rossini 2.0 – an international musical experience bringing together passionate singers, choirs and exceptional artists.
Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle is an extraordinary masterpiece – intimate in its instrumentation, yet monumental in its emotional and artistic expression. The work will be performed by a large international choir and outstanding soloists, accompanied by piano and harmonium.
🎼 PROJECT SCHEDULE
16 October – arrival and rehearsals in Kraków
17 October – rehearsals and concert
18 October – final rehearsals and concert
The dress rehearsal will take place on Friday in Kraków, immediately before the first performance.
We welcome:
🎵 Organized groups – mixed choirs, chamber choirs and vocal ensembles
🎵 Individual singers who would like to become part of this unique project
It does not matter whether you have performed Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle before or whether this will be your first encounter with the piece.
All participants will receive complete sheet music materials and interpretative guidance, allowing them to prepare thoroughly before arriving in Kraków for the joint rehearsals.
🇵🇱 REHEARSALS IN KRAKÓW
For participants based in Kraków and the surrounding area, we offer additional preparatory rehearsals with PROJECT Choir, conducted by Małgorzata Langer-Król.
These rehearsals will provide an opportunity to work systematically on the repertoire and build a strong ensemble before the main international project rehearsals.
🌍 INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION
Project Rossini 2.0 is international and open to singers from around the world.
We especially welcome participants from Norway, our partner country, as well as singers and choirs from other countries who would like to experience Kraków through music and become part of this extraordinary artistic community.
