Project Power: Children's Fitness

Project Power is a fun, interactive program from the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) that aims to slow the trajectory of childhood obesity and reduce its consequences. This no-cost program for kids aged 5–12, raises type 2 diabetes awareness and offers risk reduction education.

Throughout the program, kids are provided with the tools and resources to help them gain confidence in making healthy food choices, increase their activity level, and achieve their health goals while building family and peer support. Through learning how to develop lifelong healthy habits, they’ll reduce their risk for type 2 diabetes and gain the tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle as adults.
