It starts out as just another rehearsal for the English Theater Apeldoorn team. Unfortunately, the director is late, and the team gets impatient… They find themselves at a stalemate in an impossible discussion. Is Blondie better to sing and dance to, or is Queen?
There is only one way to settle it, of course: a lipsync theater battle! The opposing groups each come up with a short theater play based on the songs of Blondie or Queen – featuring university students, exams, love triangles, demanding parents, and murder!
Project Lipsync: Blondie vs. Queen is 3 plays embedded in 1, with catchy tunes that you will find it hard not to sing along to. We promise you a fun afternoon with a sprinkle of our craziness!

We are the international amateur theater community of Apeldoorn with members from diverse cultural backgrounds, ages, and occupations. Many of our members begin the season with little experience in theater and learn a lot by experimenting and collaboration as part of a play production.
