Are you aged 14–18 and ready to complete and share your creative technology project?
Join Inclusive Bytes CIC for the final session of our six-session digital careers and creative technology course.
During this practical workshop, you will complete and refine the project you began earlier in the course. You will have time to test your work, make improvements and prepare it for presentation.
You will also practise explaining your ideas, describing the skills you have developed and talking confidently about the challenges you have overcome. At the end of the session, participants will have the opportunity to present their work at a small, supportive showcase.
The focus is not on creating a perfect finished product. It is about recognising your progress, celebrating what you have achieved and building confidence in sharing your work with others.
What you’ll explore
During the session, you will:
- Complete and refine your creative technology project
- Test your work and make final improvements
- Organise your project for inclusion in a digital or physical portfolio
- Identify the technical and transferable skills you have developed
- Practise explaining your ideas and creative decisions
- Build confidence in presenting your work
- Share your project at a small, supportive showcase
- Reflect on your progress across the six-session course
- Consider how your project and skills could support your next steps
Who is this session for?
This session is for young people aged 14–18 who live in or around Oldham and have taken part in the creative technology course.
Participants will be supported to complete and present their work at their own pace. No previous presentation experience is required.
Course information
This workshop is Session 6 and the final session of a free six-session course designed to help young people explore digital careers, develop practical creative technology skills and prepare for future education, apprenticeships or employment.

What do I need to bring?
You do not need to bring any equipment. Everything required for the session will be provided.
Participants may bring any notes, ideas or project materials developed during earlier sessions.
