Shop for a good cause at Bobzbay Books on Tuesday, February 10th and help raise money to support Strong Towns Blono! 10% of all sales made at Bobzbay Books (in-store or online) on Tuesday, February 10th will be donated to Strong Towns Blono. Their mission is to foster a vibrant, safe, economically and environmentally sustainable, and livable community through advocacy, grassroots action, and building social capital. Funds raised will be used to support several projects meant to improve the Bloomington-Normal built environment, such as:
- Sidewalk murals to celebrate Route 66, foster pedestrian safety, and build a sense of place
- Improving pedestrian safety around public parks through art
- Revitalizing neighborhoods without displacing residents
