The film follows Brittany Goris’ journey to climb her first ever big wall - the storied Salathé Wall of El Capitan - alongside the journeys of her heroes, while exploring connection to purpose, place, community, and history. The film is dedicated to, explores @gorisb inspiration from, and honors the life and legacy of, Todd Skinner — who, alongside Paul Piana made the first free ascent of El Capitan via the Salathé Wall in 1988.
Professional Dirtbag weaves together the stories of more than a dozen climbers, storytellers, and visionaries across generations, blending past and present into an inspirational and time-bending narrative.
