Professional course: Thriving under pressure
About this Event
Recognise your inner critic
You want to grow. To learn. To show what you are capable of. But alongside that ambition, uncertainty can creep in.
Many young professionals struggle with the pressure to perform while also feeling unsure when to ask for support. You may hesitate to share work that feels unfinished, aim for perfection, or feel overwhelmed when everything seems equally urgent.
Imposter syndrome often plays a quiet role here. A voice that whispers that your success is luck and that others know more than you do. Small pieces of feedback can linger longer than they should. Achievements are quickly brushed aside. In busy, high-pressure environments, that inner voice can slowly take up more space than you would like.
How to overcome imposter syndrome
This training does not aim to get rid of doubt or silence your inner critic. Instead, you learn to recognise them, notice when they show up, and question how fair they really are.
You explore how pressure and perfectionism shape the way you work, and what changes when you allow mistakes to be part of the process. Not by lowering your standards, but by becoming less afraid of getting things wrong. Making room to learn, grow and move forward with more confidence.
In this training, you’ll learn to…
- Learn to recognise imposter syndrome and patterns of self-doubt.
- Learn to work with performance pressure and perfectionism.
- Develop a growth mindset.
- Practise asking for and receiving feedback more openly.
- Build confidence in challenging work situations.
- Use mistakes and setbacks as part of your learning process.
