More about Rev. Matthew Beach:
Rev. Matt Beach was born on Galveston Island. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii and his Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. An ordained minister in the PCUSA, he has served churches in Houston and Galveston, Texas. He is currently working on his Doctor of Philosophy in Theology from the Graduate Theological Union, where he is completing his dissertation on the embodied presence of Christ in the spoken word. He loves being outdoors, tinkering on aircooled VWs, and reading books. He lives in Berkeley, California, with his wife and fellow theologian, May.
