About this Event
This three-part series invites you to commune with nature, fiber, and color.
Each session will center on the transformation of plant material into concentrated dye, exploring the deep alchemy of our natural world. Guided by local fiber artist Melissa Beall, we’ll examine nuance in relationships between textiles and plant-based dyes. Dye baths and demonstrations will provide hands-on opportunities to explore cloth and color in a spirit of play and experimentation. Each gathering will open and close with guided meditations, grounding our process in reflection on the dynamics between people and primary elements like earth, water, and time.
- Sessions will be held on 7.26.25/8.9.25/9.6.25 from 10am-4pm (rain or shine)
- We ask that you bring yourself, a water bottle, and a packed lunch
