The class will address courtroom procedure and the expert witness process, evidence collection/handling issues and use of evidence in court, digital evidence collection and handling, case file preparation, and first responder policies. Instructors will be attorneys from the SC Attorney General’s Office, SLED lab, and Richland County digital forensics unit. The target audience is forensic personnel, investigators, prosecutors, judges, and magistrates.
