PRISM EVENT: "You're Dead...Now What?" with Kim Bainbridge

Kim Bainbridge has been a parent advocate since June, 1989 when her son Justin was born with Down syndrome. She is passionate about helping parents who encounter roadblocks to getting services for their adult children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Resources will be provided to plan for the future when parents can no longer care for their adult child. The intent of this presentation is to support parents and empower them to finish strong! Topics discussed include Designee, Paperwork, Finances, Social Security, Guardianship/POA, and Housing.
