Quan Howell, a former lead singer of Sounds of Blackness—a vocal and instrumental ensemble from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota—Quan performed a variety of genres, including gospel, R&B, soul, and jazz. The group achieved several hits on the Billboard R&B and Hot Dance Music/Club Play charts in the 1990s, with Quan leading the charge on their number one hit “Hold On (Change Is Comin')”.
Quan has collaborated with entertainment mogul Tyler Perry and appeared in many of his plays, working with world-renowned casting directors. He has shared the stage with legends such as Ann Nesby, Rod Stewart, Johnny Gill, New Edition, Salt-N-Pepa, Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann, and many other famous artists. Additionally, he has contributed to soundtracks for films like “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” “Down in the Delta,” and “The Apostle,” and worked with acclaimed movie producers Andrew Lloyd Weber and Walt Disney.

Dr. Jeffrey P. Kee is an electrifying and energizing preacher who has faithfully served at New Faith Baptist Church of Christ for the past 25 years. Affectionately known as the “Pastor for the Master,” Dr. Kee is a multifaceted pulpiteer of the Gospel and his visionary appeal and extraordinary mission reach beyond the veil to touch the masses. He has been a revolutionizing figure on numerous platforms, eradicating barriers of Racism, Sexism, Classism, Denominationalism, and other “isms.” He is also family connected with the legendary Gospel artist John P. Kee. Throughout his career, Dr. Kee has shared the stage with many notable figures, bringing his powerful message to diverse audiences.
As a catalyst within the Social Justice Horizon, Kee has been a speaker for Racism and Racial Unity Summits, MLK Celebrations, Justice Seminars, Training and Clergy Conferences. He has served as Commissioner for Religion at large for the Near East Area Commission, Facilitator/Educator for “Keeping it Real”, i.e., a faith-based dialogue on Sexuality for the Black Church Initiative in Washington, D.C., Board of Trustees for the United Christian Center of OSU, Partner with Columbus Community Mental Health. Dr. Kee has been featured several times in Who’s Who in Black Central Ohio. He previously served as Chairperson of Afrocentric Personal Development Shop, Board of Directors of D.A.R.T. (Direct Action Research Training, Miami, Florida) and Co-President of BREAD – Building Responsibility Equality and Dignity of Columbus, Ohio.
