Why Did She Stay? takes an honest look at the complicated realities that can keep women in abusive relationships, including fear, emotional and psychological abuse, trauma bonds, family, faith, shame, financial dependence, and the difficult journey toward recognizing when it is time to leave.
Through personal reflection, biblical truth, and lessons learned through healing, Priscilla challenges one of the most commonly asked questions surrounding domestic violence: “Why didn’t she just leave?”
Instead, this conversation invites us to listen differently, respond with greater compassion, and better understand the courage it can take for a woman to reclaim her voice, her identity, and her life.
